Uncle Art spent a great deal of his time in the San Bernardino Mountains where he fished and hunted during the winter months. I loved visiting him and roughing it. His cabin was tucked away in the woods near Big Bear Lake. We would fish for trout and bass and hunt rabbits. When it got cold at night my job was to gather wood for the fireplace. Uncle Art made it my job to keep this brass bucket filled with wood.
