Manufactured by Johann Haviland Germany from 1937 to 1956, Rosamonde features the Chippendale shape with a blue and white floral motif. Included are eight complete 7 piece place settings plus serving pieces. Included in the place setting is 10-1/8" dinner plate, 7-5/8" salad plate, 7-5/8" coupe soup bowl, 5-7/8" fruit/dessert bowl, and 2.25" footed cup and saucer set. Serving pieces include 9" round vegetable bowl, 13" & 15" oval serving platters, 9.5" gravy boat with attached underplate, 5-1/8" creamer and 5" sugar bowl with lid. This set was purchased from the estate of the original owner and was lovingly cared for. The only flaws I saw was the top of the sugar bowl had been broken and repaired and there is a small chip on the underside of one of the serving platters, otherwise all other pieces in excellent condition.
